One of the most popular and romantic places in Bourgas, the sea casino will be rehabilitated. The building became a symbol of the city immediately after its construction in 1938.

Bourgas Municipality won a project from Operational Program “Regional Development” 2007 – 2013.  It’s name “Improving the cultural infrastructure in the municipality of Bourgas”.  The project has a total value of 5 546 122 leva and will be implemented within 2 years. The draft proposal provides for the reconstruction of all floors and rooms of the casino. The first floor will be located club called “Virtual Culture”, which is a computer lab with Internet access, a hall for holding various meetings and exhibitions, and Coffee – Club. The space on the second floor is devoted to a multi-purpose conference hall of 80 seats, which can be used for permanent exhibitions and presentations. The third floor has some working areas and a panoramic terrace. The roof on the third floor is planned as a playground, equipped with telescopic devices with which the citizens and guests of Bourgas will enjoy the beautiful and romantic views of the sea and the sea garden. Access for people with disabilities will be facilitated by the establishment of a special ramp, rails and a panoramic elevator. The project provides a complete replacement of plumbing and electrical installation, metal staircases and building, new air conditioning and ventilation installation.
